Hey, I'm Arshil Hapani.
Systems & Backend Infrastructure Engineer.
Architecting high-throughput low-latency systems, memory-safe Rust services, resilient distributed backends, and hardened security protocols.
ABOUT & PHILOSOPHY
Building resilient systems with discipline, performance, and security.
I specialize in backend systems engineering, low-latency concurrent architectures, and memory safety with Rust. My core focus is on building high-throughput, predictable software designed to scale reliably under heavy load.
My architectural domain centers around scalable distributed services, BullMQ asynchronous worker pipelines, Redis cluster caching, kernel-level networking (NGINX/POSIX), Linux system administration, and application security. I also design and audit secure, gas-optimized protocols on EVM and Solana.
While systems and backend infrastructure are my core focus, I bring full-stack versatility—capable of engineering the entire software pipeline from Linux kernel network parameters and database index tuning to schema-validated, type-safe API contracts (Zod, TypeScript, and gRPC Protocol Buffers).
Low-Latency Systems & Rust
Leveraging memory safety, zero-cost abstractions, multithreading, and async Tokio runtimes in Rust.
Scalable Distributed Backends
Architecting high-throughput queues with BullMQ, Redis cluster caching, microservices, and fault tolerance.
Security & Defensive Protocols
Enforcing zero-trust boundaries, strict schema validation, and audited, reentrancy-guarded smart contracts.
Full-Stack Versatility
End-to-end engineering breadth: from Linux kernel socket tuning and NGINX reverse-proxies to strictly typed, schema-validated APIs with Zod and gRPC.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Software Engineer
Architecting and developing full-stack end-to-end cryptographic suites implementing post-quantum lattice algorithms (ML-KEM, ML-DSA) and hybrid key encapsulation protocols.
Blockchain Engineer
Engineered high-performance smart contracts on Solana and executed automated market maker (AMM) migrations across decentralized liquidity pools.
Blockchain Engineer
Developed and deployed production Web3 architectures, integrating decentralized exchanges, blockchain indexers, and real-time streaming data infrastructure.
Admin UI & DevOps Engineer
Engineered and deployed the LDCE college placement automation platform, streamlining recruitment operations, student applications, and coordinator workflows.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Focusing on AI/ML architectures, distributed compute, statistical modeling, and low-level computer science foundations.
Diploma in Information Technology

SELECTED PROJECTS
ClauseLens
Privacy-First In-Browser Legal Policy & Clause Analyzer
Lightweight, zero-telemetry browser extension and web application that audits Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, and user agreements in real-time. Operates 100% client-side with deterministic heuristics, flagging high-risk clauses and stealth policy updates without uploading a single byte of user data to the cloud.
Rust-Based High-Throughput Prediction Market & Order Book Engine
End-to-end distributed prediction market exchange engineered with Rust microservices, gRPC inter-service communication, Redpanda streaming, NATS message queues, ClickHouse OLAP analytics, and Bloom filters for low-latency order matching and real-time execution.
Syncly — File Synchronizer CLI
Cross-Device File Synchronization & Tracking Utility in Rust
Reliable and high-performance Rust command-line tool for bi-directional and recursive directory synchronization across devices, featuring change status tracking, dry-run previews, synchronization history logs, and configurable ignore patterns.
